Students would typically be studying some of the following topics in Post Graduate Diploma in Sports Management (PGDSM) program. The course is scheduled Term-wise and each term is of 3 Months duration. 

Term I 

  • Fundamentals of Journalism in Sports Management
  • Sports Brand Management 
  • Sports Equipment & Technology Management (Accounting & Finance) 
  • Administration of Professional and organized team sports in India -Roles and Functions 
  • Management of Sports, leagues and teams

Term II

  • Marketing Management in Sports : sports and entertainment marketing including Digital Sports Marketing, PR and Advertisements 
  • The Business of Sports Generating Sponsorships and Pvt Funding, Govt and Institutionalized Funding Handling TV rights, Sports brand Management
  • An Introduction to Sports Science (viz. sports health and nutrition, psychology in sports, sports training and tactics, Development of Grassroots Level Development 
  • Sports Training & Tactics 
  • Global Sports Tourism

Term III

  • Internship on Sports Event Management

Live Projects give the students to work in real business environments and get a touch and feel of the sports industry.Internships would be at companies like ESPN, Star Sports, Radio One, Procam for 10 K runs in various cities, Game plan, the administrative support company of KKR, Bengaluru FC, JSW Sports Foundation, Prakash Padukone Sports Management, Mahesh Bhupathi's Globosport, IMG, Pro Boxing League, Adidas, Puma, Proline etc. Read More>
